It started off on the 24th of February when the whole of Year 5 went on a day trip to Totara Park.My bag was loaded with food!Everyone had to be at school by 8:50 so we could get on the bus and leave school. The bus trip was so long it took almost half an hour to get there.Once we got there we sat down on mat and had morning tea. Then the instructors told us there were going to be four different groups and we were going to rotate between groups. My group was group 1 and we were on archery first.I was so excited because I had never done archery before.Since I am left handed I had a special bow.It was so hard because the bow was heavy and the string was strong.I only hit the white bit of the target. Each person got 9 arrows each.We then did the bush walk, bush activities and novelty games.
